New gameplay features introduced in the second story arc of the Crossbell duology include preemptive advantages in battle when striking an enemy from behind on the field, and the introduction of the Burst Gauge combat mechanic. Players can also import save data from Trails from Zero when starting a new game to trigger additional event scenes.
Nihon Falcom's turn-based role-playing game debuted in 2011 for the PlayStation Portable console, serving as the direct sequel to The Legend of Heroes: Trails from Zero. The Original Soundtrack is streaming on Spotify and Amaon Music Unlimited. Music is composed by Falcom Sound Team jdk members Hayato Sonoda, Takahiro Unisuga, Saki Momiyama, and Masanori Osaki.
The Legend of Heroes: Trails to Azure for Windows PC is currently available via Steam, GOG.com, and the Epic Games Store, verified for use with the Steam Deck.
