In a recent PlayStation Blog post, design director Mike Tucker introduced locations featured in the game. A gameplay sequence posted online previews the 'Centurion Boss' theme from a "Future War" level, pitting adult John Connor against Skynet's army of robots.
A platforming run-and-gun level is set in a top-secret Cyberdyne factory, while a freeway chase scene is inspired by the chase sequence from Terminator 2: Judgment Day, in which the T-1000 pursues protagonist Sarah Connor in a stolen police helicopter.
The Game Overview trailer for Terminator 2D: No Fate is streaming on the publisher's YouTube channel, available upon launch for Nintendo Switch, PS4 and PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S consoles, along with Windows, Mac and Linux through Steam and the Epic Games Store.
