The 3D fighting game for PlayStation Portable launched in July of 2006 as an expanded port of mainline series entry Tekken 5 , including "Tekken Bowling" and "Time Attack" modes. 32 fighters fill out the roster, adding newcomers Lili, Sergei Dragunov, and Armor King II.
Bandai Namco Game Music published the digital soundtrack, currently available for streaming on Apple Music, Spotify, and Amazon Music Unlimited. Participating composers include Riow Arai, Rio Hamamoto, Yuu Miyake, Junichi Nakatsuru, Keiichi Okabe, Hiroshi Okubo, Nobuyoshi Sano (sanodg), Ryuichi Takada, Kohta Takahashi, Yoshihito Yano, Tetsukazu Nakanishi, Go Shiina, and Akitaka Tohyama (AJURIKA).
Laced Records of London published the Tekken 5 and Dark Resurrection soundtrack, pressed on deluxe triple vinyl, with sleeve artwork by illustrator Samuel Donato, aka DXSinfinite. The album ships from the publisher and distributor PixelCrib in Australia.
