System Shock VR announced for Meta Quest, Steam VR, PS VR2
Flat2VR Studios has announced a VR adaptation of Nightdive Studios' System Shock remake. System Shock VR will launch for Meta Quest, Steam VR, and PlayStation VR2 platforms, published by Impact Reality, INC. and Atari.

The classic science fiction title is set within Citadel Station, a research facility orbiting Saturn. A powerful AI system known as SHODAN has seized control, intent on targeting Earth. Players explore the Citadel's decks, recovering the crew's recordings, in a bid to thwart SHODAN’s ambitions.

The System Shock remake previously launched for Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 consoles with all-new HD visuals, updated controls, and up-to-date sound design, while retaining the original voice actor of SHODAN, Terri Brosius.


The Official Soundtrack from the 2023 release, composed and produced by Jonathan Peros, is hosted on Steam and the developer's Bandcamp page. Arrangement is by Jeffrey Brice, with mixing and mastering by Sanford Parker, and album design by Mark Dusk.

System Shock (2023) is also available for PS4 and PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Series X|S consoles, including a fully reworked finale. The PC edition for Windows is hosted on Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store.
