Competing factions engage in shootouts over radiated territory, fending off mutated creatures while searching out valuable artifacts. Players are challenged with ailments including hunger and radiation poisoning, while the environment changes based on time of day and adverse weather conditions.
The publisher previously posted documentary "War Game: The Making of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2," streaming on the company's YouTube channel. The 90-minute film details the challenges faced during the course of development.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl for Windows edition is hosted on Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store. The Xbox Series X|S edition is included with Game Pass, while the Deluxe Edition includes the digital art book and Official Soundtrack.
