Survival horror game Siren, originally released for the PlayStation 2 console, has joined the PlayStation Plus Premium catalog. The digital edition is enhanced with up-rendering, rewind, quick save, and custom video filters.

Localized as Forbidden Siren in Europe, the psychological horror game directed by Bokeh Game Studio co-founder Keiichiro Toyama debuted in November of 2003. Siren's ambitious plot structure introduces the player to ten separate protagonists, alternating between their storylines in separate chapters presented in non-chronological order.

The 2023 remaster of Siren Original Soundtrack, composed by Hitomi Shimizu and Gary Ashiya, is streaming on Spotify and Amazon Music Unlimited, published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. Additional music tracks are by Tenchu series composer Noriyuki Asakura and Kimitaka Matsumae of the Jade Cocoon franchise.

Experience Siren, originally released on PS2, now enhanced with up-rendering, rewind, quick save, and custom video filters. Midnight. A siren calls and a sea of red water mysteriously surrounds the mountain village Hanuda. Slowly, a terrible force transforms the inhabitants into shibito, undead husks of their old selves, fueled by evil and hate.Play as one of ten characters caught in a living nightmare. You have three days to learn how their paths intersect as they try to stay alive. Survival depends on your ability to “sightjack” or the power to see through the eyes of friends and foes. There is no one hero. There is little hope.
