Sea of Stars: Throes of the Watchmaker DLC planned for spring of 2025
Sabotage Studio announced Sea of Stars DLC "Throes of the Watchmaker" during the recent Nintendo Direct livestream. The free downloadable contents are planned for release in spring of 2025.

Focusing on the location of the miniature clockwork world of Horloge, the expanded contents include new playable Character Arty, local cooperative play with up to three players. Oiginal music for the DLC is by Eric W. Brown and Yasunori Mitsuda.

Sea of Stars is currently available for Nintendo Switch, along with PS4 and PlayStation 5, available for PlayStation Plus Extra subscribers. The Xbox One and Series X|S release is on Game Pass. The Windows release is on Steam, verified for use with the Steam Deck.

Preorders have opened at record label iam8bit for the Sea of Stars two-disc vinyl soundtrack, pressed on solar orange and lunar blue discs. The album also ships from distributors Light in the Attic in Seattle and PixelCrib in Australia.
