TOHO Co. Ltd. has published "Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin: The Original Soundtrack from the Animation Series," adapted from the 2022 action-role playing game, developed by Edelweiss. The score is composed by Yoshiaki Fujisawa, available for streaming on Apple Music, Spotify, and Amazon Music Unlimited.

The opening movie, set to "Harebare" by Yoshiki Mizuno of the Ikimonogakari pop rock duo, can be viewed on the Toho Animation Youtube channel. A piano rendition of the theme rounds out the 29-track album.


Verified for use with Steam Deck, Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin features sidescrolling hack-and-slash combat, along with farming simulation gameplay. The PS4 edition is part of the PlayStation Plus Extra catalog, also available for Nintendo Switch, Windows through Steam and the Epic Games Store.

Ookami Koubou recently published the Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin double vinyl soundtrack. The analog record release, composed by Hiroyuki Oshima, ships from distributors CDJapan, Light in the Attic in Seattle, and Black Screen Records in Europe.
