Ookami Koubou has published the Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin double vinyl soundtrack, shipping from distributors CDJapan, Light in the Attic in Seattle, Black Screen Records in Europe, and disk union in Japan.

Developed by Edelweiss and published by Marvelous, Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin features sidescrolling hack-and-slash combat, along with farming simulation gameplay. Verified for use with Steam Deck, the action role-playing game for PS4 is part of the PlayStation Plus Extra catalog, also available for Nintendo Switch, Windows through Steam and the Epic Games Store.

Composed by Hiroyuki Oshima, the 42-track Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin digital album is included in the Digital Deluxe Edition, featuring cover art by illustrator Ryota Murayama. A live recording of "Yanato Planting Song," performed by Saya Asakura, can be viewed on the vocalist's YouTube channel.


Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin's "Musical Arrangements" album is published through Steam. The 16-track arrangement album features koto and shamisen instrumentals, blending traditional Japanese court music to and more contemporary rock stylings. Cover art is by Koichi of Edelweiss.
