Laced Records of London has opened preorders for the Rust deluxe triple vinyl soundtrack. Remastered for vinyl, the album spans 29 music tracks, showcasing art by Lewis Ainslie of Facepunch Studios.

Music for the multiplayer survival game is composed by Alex Rehberg. Original Game Soundtrack, Vol. 1 is hosted on Bandcamp and Steam, with streaming on Apple Music, Spotify, and YouTube Music.

The composer mentions, via a 2022 Facepunch blog update, "I originally wrote a lot of these songs for our update videos but I've been expanding them into more fleshed out, standalone pieces of music when I've had time. There's also some songs I've written to fit the occasional calm moment in game that you won't have heard at all yet."


Developed by Facepunch Studios, Rust launched outside of Early Access in February of 2018 through Steam. Set on a procedurally generated open-world island, the aim is to scavenge resources to survive hunger, thirst and cold. Amidst player-versus-player raids, gameplay revolves around constructing fortified bases and launching attacks to expand territory.

Rust for Windows PC is hosted on Steam and the Epic Games Store. Console-optimized editions by Double Eleven Ltd. are available for PlayStation 5 and Series X|S.
