Subtitled "The Will to Fabricate," SKONEC Entertainment developed vertically scrolling shoot-em-up Psyvariar 2 in 2003. First published by Success Corp. for the Sega NAOMI arcade platform, home console ports followed for Sega Dreamcast, PlayStation 2, and Xbox.

The science fiction title is known for its distinctive "Buzz system," earning the player's space fighter experience points, raising the vessel's power level, by grazing enemy projectiles without taking damage. Record label Team Entertainment published the soundtrack album in 2004, featuring music by WASi303, Misako Tago, Emagicker, and Takashi Egawano.

The Psyvariar 2 digital soundtrack is now available for streaming through Amazon Music Unlimited, Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube Music. A crossfade sample trailer can be viewed on the Success YouTube channel.
