During this week's LEVEL-5 Vision 2024 showcase, the company announced plans for the launch of Professor Layton and the New World of Steam in 2025 for Nintendo Switch.

The 3D installment in the Professor Layton mystery-solving puzzle game series follows the events of Unwound Future. Set in the United States, an industrial revolution of steam-powered innovations has surpassed even London's level of technological development. Professor Hershel Layton and apprentice Luke Triton travel Steam Bison, America to investigate new mysteries.

The New World of Steam will present players with puzzles designed by QuizKnock, overseen by Takuji Izawa. Music for the franchise is by Tomohito Nishiura. The Professor Layton and the Unwound Future soundtrack is streaming on Apple Music, YouTube Music, and Spotify.
