Planet of Lana II: Children of the Leaf demo launched for PC, Xbox, PlayStation
Publisher Thunderful Games has published the demo for Planet of Lana II: Children of the Leaf, focused on showcasing gameplay and atmosphere.

Comprised of playable segments from five different chapters, the demo presents players with a mix of environmental puzzles and traversal challenges, spanning approximately 30 minutes of gameplay. Due to the variety of chapters represented, progress does not carry over to the full game.

Music is by The Last Guardian composer Takeshi Furukawa. A video interview recorded with the musician in Budapest, Hungary provides an early look at the traditional Swedish instruments incorporated in the score. The release date trailer for developer Wishfully's cinematic puzzle-platformer can also be viewed on Thunderful Games' YouTube channel.


Game directors Adam Stjärnljus and Klas Martin Eriksson commented via Xbox Wire, "Planet of Lana II explores Novo in the wake of Lana and Mui’s triumph; How has the world changed since the arrival of the robots? And perhaps more importantly; how has overnight access to modern technology changed its people? The answer forces Lana and Mui down a dark path paved with greed, danger and ever more questions about their planet’s mysterious past."

Planet of Lana II: Children of the Leaf will launch on March 5th for Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, Xbox One and Series X|S (with Game Pass), PS4 and PlayStation 5 consoles. The Windows edition is hosted on Steam, verified for use with the Steam Deck.
