Data Discs opens preorders for Okami vinyl soundtrack quadruple LP boxset
Coinciding with the 20th anniversary of launch, record label Data Discs has opened preorders for the Okami vinyl soundtrack quadruple LP boxset.

Featuring a selection of orchestral tracks from the cel-shaded action-adventure game developed by Clover Studio, the four-disc vinyl set comes with a 40-page artbook. Music for the game, originally published by Capcom in April of 2006 for the PlayStation 2 console, is composed by Masami Ueda, Hiroshi Yamaguchi, Rei Kondoh and Akari Kaida of Capcom Sound Team.

Remastered editions of "Kamiki Village," "Sei-an Aristocratic Quarter," "Okami Shiranui," "Sakuya's Theme," and "Ryoshima Coast" are streaming on the Data Discs SoundCloud channel.

Capcom previously commemorated the 15th anniversary by publishing the digital soundtrack through Steam. The five-volume collection is available in MP3, FLAC, and AAC file formats. Lounge Arrangements, Retro Arrangements and Jazz Arrangements are also streaming on Apple Music.

The high-definition remaster of Okami is available for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One consoles. The Windows edition is hosted on Steam, verified for use with the Steam Deck.

From the Data Discs product page:
The OKAMI vinyl soundtrack is presented as a quadruple LP boxset, pressed on heavyweight frosted clear vinyl and comprising over two hours of remastered music. It is packaged in a spot-varnished hardboard slipcase, along with a 40-page artbook, printed inner sleeves and a double-sided lithographic art print, featuring original illustrations from the CAPCOM archives. A download code for the album in both lossless and lossy formats is also included.
