Hobonichi Co., Ltd. organized the "Secrets of MOTHER 2" exhibition, celebrating the 30th anniversary of the launch of Earthbound. A livestream broadcast on YouTube provided an overview of the celebratory art and design project.

Directed by Shigesato Itoi, MOTHER (EarthBound Beginnings) is part of the NES game library on the Nintendo Switch Online subscription service. Music for the Nintendo role-playing game is composed by Keiichi Suzuki and Hirokazu Tanaka.

Suzuki's "Mother Music Revisited" arrangement album, published by record label Nippon Columbia, is streaming on Spotify and Apple Music.
