In the latest installment in the isometric puzzle game series, players guide protagonist Noor through illusions and atmospheric puzzles, inspired by real world art and architecture to unlock the secrets of a mysterious world.
"The Garden of Life" arrives on December 3rd for Nintendo Switch, PS4 and PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Series X|S consoles, the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. The Windows edition is hosted on Steam, verified for use with the Steam Deck.
Monument Valley 3 launch trailer
Monument Valley 3 Original Soundtrack is available for purchase through Steam, with streaming on Spotify and Amazon Music Unlimited. Music and audio design is by co-composers Todd Baker and Lucie Treacher.
Baker's Deep Dive videos are streaming on the composer's YouTube channel. The presentations unpack the design of the navigation 'ping' sound, which shifts contextually to reflect changes in the puzzle game's music and narrative, and the Mandala sequences concluding each chapter are constructed and implemented. Both co-composers discuss the design of interactive music in a special half-hour installment of the video series.
