Publisher Laced Records of London has opened preorders for the Metal Gear Solid: The Vinyl Collection, available in deluxe double vinyl and six-disc box set editions.

The six-disc box set selects 53 music tracks and official arrangements from mainline Metal Gear Solid series installments. The compilation spans game scores from Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake to Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. Featured songs include “Snake Eater,” “The Best is Yet to Come,” “Here’s to You,” and “Sins of the Father.”

Vinyl pre-mastering is by Joe Caithness. Metal Gear Solid: The Vinyl Collection also ships from distributors Light in the Attic in Seattle and PixelCrib in Australia.



Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 launched in October, available for PS4 and PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and Windows through Steam.

The compilation includes Metal Gear Solid with VR Missions and Special Missions content, Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty (HD Collection), and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater (HD Collection). Also included are the sprite-based titles Metal Gear (NES/Famicom), Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake and Snake’s Revenge.

The Metal Gear 20th anniversary music collection is available for streaming on YouTube Music, Apple Music, Spotify, and Amazon Music Unlimited.

Each main title in the line-up will also include an exclusive digital Screenplay Book and Master Book that details the story and characters in that game. This collection includes the classic versions of the games, complete with only minimal edits to copyrighted contents.

Those who purchase Volume 1 will also have access to a variety of bonus content including the two regional versions of Metal Gear, the original version of Snake's Revenge, the first and second Digital Graphic Novels in video form, and a digital soundtrack.
