Publisher Nippon Columbia published The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword soundtrack album, released in Europe through the Wayô Records label. The 2011 adventure title for Nintendo Wii depicts the emergence of the Master Sword in the Zelda universe timeline.

As with Nippon Columbia's publication of the Animal Crossing: New Horizons soundtrack, the soundtrack has been treated to two separate editions. The regular edition ships on five compact discs, including a total of 187 music tracks. The limited edition also includes a miniature music box, whose rendition of the main theme "Ballad of the Goddess" can be previewed on the publisher's YouTube channel.

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD launched for the Nintendo Switch console in July. Music for the game is by sound director Hajime Wakai, supervisor Koji Kondo, and composers Shiho Fujii, Mahito Yokota, and Takeshi Hama.
