Kirby and the Forgotten Land - Nintendo Switch 2 Edition announced
During today's Nintendo Direct presentation, Nintendo announced Kirby and the Forgotten Land: Nintendo Switch 2 Edition.

Scheduled for release on August 28th, the enhanced port will display improved graphics and frame rates and include an additional story, entitled "Star-Crossed World." The new content depicts mysterious changes visited on the Forgotten Land following a meteor strike.

Developed by HAL Laboratory, the 3D platformer launched for the Nintendo Switch console in March of 2022, featuring original music by Yuuta Ogasawara, Hirokazu Ando, Jun Ishikawa, and Yuki Shimooka. The Complete Soundtrack, pressed on four compact discs, ships from distributor CDJapan. The album spanning 115 music tracks includes opening credits theme "Welcome to the New World."

Shipping domestically from distributor Play-Asia, the Sound Selection album is pressed on a single compact disc, selecting 33 tracks from the game. The soundtrack is part of the Nintendo Music catalog included in the Nintendo Switch Online subscription service.
