Commemorating the 10th anniversary of the launch of The Banner Saga, developer Stoic Studio and composer Ausin Wintory have announced the publication of The Banner Saga trilogy orchestral book.

The tactical role-playing game launched in January of 2014 for Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems, centering on an interactive storyline inspired by Norse mythology. The Orchestral Book includes all the music in trilogy, signed by the composer and approximating 556 pages in length.

The multi-layered orchestral score for The Banner Saga, conducted by Jerry F. Junkin, was performed by The Dallas Winds with executive director Kim Campbell. Audiophile label Reference Recordings oversaw recording at the Meyerson Symphony Center in Dallas, with engineer Keith O. Johnson. Vocal tracks are performed by Malukah and Peter Hollens, featuring violinist Taylor Davis. Cover art is by Arnie Jorgenson.
