Forbidden West explores the post-apocalyptic terrain of the western United States, roughly 1,000 years after a robotic plague left modern civilization in ruin. Protagonist Aloy searches out a replacement root kernel to restore the terraforming system GAIA before the biosphere collapses.
Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition for PS4 and Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered for PlayStation 5 joined PlayStation Plus Extra in April. Returning series composers Joris de Man, Joe Henson and Alexis Smith of The Flight, and Niels van der Leest are joined by Oleksa Lozowchuk on the three-volume soundtrack.
Music supervisor Lucas van Tol and audio director Bastian Seelbach participated in a two-part "Meet the Composers" discussion, which can be viewed on the PlayStation YouTube channel. The 142-track album is available on major streaming services, including Spotify and Apple Music Classical.
