Valve is celebrating the 20th anniversary of the launch of Half-Life 2, today. The developer invited Secret Tape to compile a 20th anniversary documentary, featuring developer commentary.

Half-Life 2 debuted on Steam in 2004. The 20th anniversary update merges the complete Episode One and Episode Two expansions, along with the base game, along with bug fixes, restoration of previously lost content, improved lightmap resolution and fog. Valve convened the development team to record new commentary tracks for the entire game.

The Original Soundtrack and the first-person shooter are available to download for free this weekend, verified for use with the Steam Deck. The soundtrack album, composed by Kelly Bailey, is streaming on Apple Music, YouTube Music, Spotify, and Amazon Music Unlimited.

From the product page:
The player again picks up the crowbar of research scientist Gordon Freeman, who finds himself on an alien-infested Earth being picked to the bone, its resources depleted, its populace dwindling. Freeman is thrust into the unenviable role of rescuing the world from the wrong he unleashed back at Black Mesa. And a lot of people he cares about are counting on him.
