Supergiant Games has launched the Olympic Update of the Early Access build of Hades II, available for Windows and Mac through Steam and the Epic Games Store, verified for use with the Steam Deck.

Rooted in Greek myth, the direct sequel builds on the roguelike action role-playing gameplay of the original. Princess of the Underworld Melinoë, sister of Hades protagonist Zagreus, invokes the assistance of fully-voiced Olympian Gods in a bid to defeat Chronos, the Titan of Time.

Hades II Original Soundtrack by series composer Darren Korb is published through Steam and the Epic Games Store, while a "Singles Playlist" is streaming on YouTube Music. The musician is collaborating with Journey composer Austin Wintory on "new, massively orchestral music."

The digital album features vocals by Erin Yvette, Ashley Barrett and Judy Alice Lee, with saxophone by Sam Gendel and flute performed by Josh Plotner. The Early Access release consists of thirty tracks, spanning over two and a half hours of original music. Mastering for the digital soundtrack is by Hans DeKline.
