Four returning teenage characters from the original game mysteriously find themselves shrunk to the size of insects. Within the outsized environs of Brookhollow Park, players traverse the playground on insect mounts, crafting weapons and armor, while building up a sheltered base of operations. Character attribute customization allows unique builds to match preferred playstyles.
Grounded 2 is now available for PlayStation 5 consoles, published by Xbox Game Studios. The Xbox Series X|S edition is a 'Play Anywhere' title, included with Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscriptions. The Windows PC edition is on Steam, verified for use with the Steam Deck.
Music is composed by Brian Trifon, Brian Lee White, Alex Klingle, and Jay Wiltzen of Finishing Move Inc., in collaboration with Eidos-Montréal Audio Director Tristan Bernier.
The Official Game Soundtrack is available through streaming platforms, including Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube Music, and Amazon Music Unlimited. The Digital Artbook & Soundtrack application is hosted on Steam. A holiday rendition of the main theme, "Growing Pains," can be viewed on the developer's YouTube channel.
