Glaciered trailer premieres during Indie World Showcase
During this week' Indie World Showcase, independent developer Studio Snowblind premiered the debut Nintendo Switch 2 trailer for Glaciered, a timed console exclusive.

The underwater action game depicts a scenario taking place 65 million years in the future, in which the surface of the planet's oceans have frozen over in an "Everwinter" Ice Age. Players take on the role of an aquatic creature evolved from birds, the Tuai. The avian protagonist utilizes melee and ranged attacks to fend off Crocodilia predators.

Music for the underwater action adventure is by Nue and Kai of acoustic band TOW. The "Heart of the Wingborn" trailer music is streaming on the group's YouTube channel.

Glaciered is currently available to wishlist through Steam, published by Playism. The Steam Next Fest playable demo for Windows is enhanced by ray-tracing and DLSS.

From the Steam product page:
Glaciered takes place on Earth 65 million years in the future, where the "Everwinter" has transformed the planet's surface into a gigantic sheet of ice and life continues to survive under the glacier-covered seas.

Aquatic plants grow from glacier skies and colorful, bioluminescent fish light the seafloor. A new species prospers in this new golden age of life. They are the Tuai, descended from birds and successors of the dinosaurs. The superior intellect and unique metabolism they evolved over millions of years secured their prosperity in this icy environment. The great Ice Age that nurtures this bountiful ecosystem will survive for as long as the Everwinter persists.
