Developed by Sucker Punch, the sequel to historical action-adventure game Ghost of Tsushima has launched for PlayStation 5 consoles, published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. Taking place in the lands surrounding Mount Yōtei three hundred years after the original title, the sequel's open world game design seeks to provide even more freedom and variety.
The Ghost of Yōtei Official Soundtrack Listening Party aired on October 15th at 5:00 PM, Pacific. The livestream by PlayStation Studios, in collaboration with Sony Music Masterworks, includes exclusive commentary, behind-the-scenes stories, and insights into the production of the game soundtrack.
Also published by Milan Records, the "Music from Watanabe Mode" EP highlights lo-fi beats from the alternative soundtrack option, overseen by Shinichirō Watanabe. Music is by Otowa, DJ Mitsu, Takumi Kaneko, Sweet William, Mabanua, Mark De Clive-Lowe, Asuka, Keizan Tanabe, and Ayatake Ezaki.
Ghost of Yōtei "Legends" DLC is planned for release in 2026. The cooperative multiplayer mode, offering two-player story missions and four-player survival matches, is situated in a supernatural setting, set in contrast with the grounded world-building of the base game.
