Sucker Punch Productions partnered with Nixxes on the Windows port of Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut, launching May 16th through Steam and the Epic Games Store. The PC edition includes the Iki Island content and online multiplayer Legends mode.
Developed by Sucker Punch, the action-adventure game places the player in the role of a samurai tasked with protecting Tsushima Island during the Mongol invasion of the late 13th century. The Director's Cut adds new territory, introducing supernatural elements inspired by Japanese folklore.
Original music for the base game is composed by Ilan Eshkeri and Shigeru Umebayashi. The vinyl soundtrack release ships on three discs from publisher Milan Records. Milan's followup vinyl publication, titled "Music from Iki Island & Legends," collects music tracks from downloadable contents composed by Chad Cannon and Bill Hemstapat. The vinyl release ships from distributors Light in the Attic in Seattle, Mondo in Austin, and PixelCrib in Australia.
The album showcases traditional Japanese instruments performed by Biwa player Cyouka Ogata, Kinya Sogawa (shakuhachi), Yutaka Oyama (Tsugaru-Shamisen), and Akemi Yamada (koto). The digital edition is streaming on Apple Music, Spotify and Amazon Music Unlimited.
