Dawntrail: Final Fantasy XIV Original Soundtrack is now available on Apple Music, Spotify, and other streaming platforms. Image illustration and title logo design is by Yoshitaka Amano.

Music is overseen and primarily composed by Masayoshi Soken, with additional composition and arrangement contributed by Takafumi Imamura, Daiki Ishikawa, Saya Yasaki, Justin Frieden, and Shoya Sunakawa. Soken provides a new interpretation of Nobuo Uematsu's iconic Prelude theme on “Prelude - A Westward Journey.”

Spanning 66 music tracks from the expansion, the Music Blu-ray disc ships from the Square Enix store for North America, along with distributors CDJapan and Playasia, while the digital edition is hosted on Steam.

The Dawntrail 7-inch vinyl single contains the "Open Sky - The Theme from Dawntrail," performed by composer Soken's band The Primals. Vocals are performed by Amanda Achen, with lyrics by Michael-Christopher Koji Fox and Kathryn Cwynar. The B-side contains the variation from the full-length opening trailer.

Final Fantasy XIV is currently available for Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S, PS4 and PlayStation 5 consoles, along with Mac and Windows through Steam.
