Final Fantasy VII Rebirth arrives on Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2 in June
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, the second installment in the remake trilogy of action role-playing games, will launch for Nintendo Switch 2 and Xbox Series X|S consoles on June 3rd. Continuing in pursuit of Sephiroth, Cloud Strife escapes the city of Midgar, joining party members in battles blending action and strategy.

The Original Soundtrack is hosted on Steam, with streaming on Apple Music and Spotify, featuring music by composers Masashi Hamauzu, Keiki Kobayashi, Tadayoshi Makino, Tsuyoshi Sekito, and Reo Uratani, among other aritsts. The previously released Preview EP is composed by Nobuo Uematsu, with arrangement by Shotaro Shima.


Preorders have opened for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Original Soundtrack Plus, scheduled for release on April 1st. The album ships from the Square Enix store for North America, along with distributors CDJapan and Playasia, pressed on five compact discs.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is currently available for PlayStation 5 consoles, along with Windows through Steam and the Epic Games Store, verified for use with the Steam Deck. A Special Talk Session (Nobuo Uematsu×Kazushige Nojima×Tetsuya Nomura) can be viewed on the publisher's YouTube channel.

The lifestream represents the very cycle of life and death, where all life emerges from the planet and returns to its embrace. However, the Shinra Electric Power Company ruthlessly drains the planet of its very essence, the lifestream, and processes it for industry as "mako."

After overcoming countless fierce battles in the mako-powered metropolis of Midgar, ex-SOLDIER Cloud Strife and his companions step out into the wider world. Riding across grassy plains atop chocobos, they embark on an uncertain path, beginning their fated journey across the planet.

At the same time, SOLDIER First Class Zack Fair walks through the wastelands outside of Midgar. Wounded and weary, he drags his battered body forward while supporting his dear friend Cloud, who is delirious from mako poisoning. Beyond the veil of death, an ominous rift tears the heavens above.
