Turn-based strategy title Final Fantasy Tactics debuted on the Sony PlayStation home console in 1997. An enhanced port subtitled "The War of the Lions" launched on May 10th of 2007 in Japan, initially released for the PlayStation Portable console and ported more recentlly to iOS and Android devices.

Produced by Hironobu Sakaguchi and directed by Yasumi Matsuno, Tactics combines the monster design and job system from Final Fantasy series installments with the political intrigue and strategic combat of Ogre Battle: The March of the Black Queen and Tactics Ogre.

Composed by Hitoshi Sakimoto and Masasharu Iwata, the 50-track digital album is available for streaming on Spotify, YouTube Music, Apple Music, and Amazon Music Unlimited. The double compact disc release ships from CDJapan.
