In 1995, Sega's 3D fighting game arrived in arcades, presenting nine playable armored gladiators competing in a near-future deathmatch. The first compact disc contains seventeen tracks from the arcade game, while the second disc includes 18 tracks from the Sega Saturn home console port.
Opening track "Fighting Vipers ~Prelude~ -Mickey Arr Ver.2025-" is arranged by Koichi "Mickey" Namiki, formerly the leader of the S.S.T. Sound Band. The album concludes with "Viper Venom ~If it is Long~ -Mickey Arr Ver. 2025-," an extended arrangement of the opening track, offered as a special bonus track.
Fighting Vipers 30th Anniv. Album ships from distributors CDJapan and Playasia. A ten-minute crossfade trailer is streaming on the Sega Sound Team YouTube channel.
