The original top-down action role-playing game launched for the Family Computer Disk System on February 20th of 1987. Composer Kinuyo Yamashita completed the score following her work on Castlevania for the Nintendo Entertainment System.
Esper Dream 2 followed in 1992, featuring music by Mega Man composer Manami Matsumae and Konami Wai Wai World co-composer Shigemasa Matsuo. Both soundtrack albums are streaming on Apple Music and Amazon Music Unlimited in Japan.
