Directed by Yoko Taro for developer Access Games, Drakengard launched twelve years ago for the PlayStation 3 console. Taking place prior to the events of depicted in Drakengard, the action role-playing game features character design by Kimihiko Fujisaka.

Drakengard 3 Original Soundtrack is now available for purchase through Steam, with streaming on Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube Music, and Amazon Music Unlimited. First published in 2014, the soundtrack is composed by members of the MONACA, Inc. music studio.

The 19-track album clocks in at over two hours in duration. Music is composed by Keiichi Okabe, Keigo Hoashi, Kakeru Ishihama, and Kuniyuki Takahashi, with additional contributions by Nobuyoshi Sano (Sanodg) and Akitaka Tohyama (AJURIKA).
