Three years ago, publisher Square Enix announced the modern remake of Nintendo Famicom role-playing game Dragon Quest III: The Seeds of Salvation.

Developed by Artdink Corporation and Team Asano, Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake launches in November for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows through Steam. Spanning the remainder of the Erdrick Trilogy, Dragon Quest I&II HD-2D Remake is in development, planned for release in 2025.

"Symphonic Suite Dragon Quest III" by composer Koichi Sugiyama ships on compact disc from distributor CDJapan. King Records published the album in collaboration with Sugi Label, featuring the Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra. The Dragon Quest III mobile remake is currently available for Nintendo Switch, iOS and Android devices.
