Doom: The Dark Ages joins Xbox Game Pass Premium catalog
Doom: The Dark Ages is now included with Game Pass Premium, available for Xbox Series X|S, handheld, and Windows PC. Developed by id Software, the first-person shooter serves as the prequel to Doom (2016).

Laced Records of London published the Doom: The Dark Ages vinyl soundtrack, available both as a four-disc boxset and deluxe double vinyl selection. The physical release ships via the publisher, along with distributors Arcline Store in the United States, and PixelCrib in Australia. Artwork is by id Software and Grzegorz Domaradzki.

A blend of heavy metal, industrial metal and darkly ambient, medieval fantasy elements, the Original Game Soundtrack by Finishing Move Inc. of The Callisto Protocol is available for streaming on Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube and Amazon Music Unlimited. The 35-track album is by composers Alex Klingle, Brian Trifon (Trifonic), Jay Wiltzen, and audio director Brian Lee White.

Doom: The Dark Ages is also available for PlayStation 5 consoles, published by Bethesda Softworks. The Windows PC edition is on Steam and the Epic Games Store, verified for use with the Steam Deck. The Premium Edition includes the digital artbook and soundtrack app.

From the Laced product page:
Elements of thrash metal, modern deathcore, early doom metal and Swedish black metal bleed into brutal guitar breakdowns and downtempo grooves, while traditional folk instruments such as the Nordic bass tagelharpa, balalaika and massive animal hide drums are combined with modern synths for a dark and gritty sound that feels raw, primal and unmistakably DOOM.
