Doom: The Dark Ages launched for Windows, PS5, Xbox Series X|S
Doom: The Dark Ages has launched for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles, along with Windows through Steam and the Epic Games Store, published by Bethesda Softworks. The Premium Edition includes the digital artbook and soundtrack app.

Developed by id Software, the first-person shooter serves as the prequel to Doom (2016). The Original Game Soundtrack by Finishing Move Inc. of The Callisto Protocol is streaming on Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube and Amazon Music Unlimited.

Previously previewed excerpts include trailer theme "Infernal Chasm," menu theme "When The Shadows First Lengthened," and "Unholy Siege." The 35-track album is by composers Alex Klingle, Brian Trifon (Trifonic), Jay Wiltzen, and audio director Brian Lee White.

From the PlayStation product page:
As the super weapon of gods and kings, shred enemies with devastating favorites like the Super Shotgun while also wielding a variety of new bone-chewing weapons, including the versatile Shield Saw. Players will stand and fight on the demon-infested battlefields in the vicious, grounded combat the original DOOM is famous for. Take flight atop the new fierce Mecha Dragon, stand tall in a massive Atlan mech, and beat demons to a pulp with the newly enhanced glory kill system. Only the Slayer has the power to wield these devastating tools of mayhem.
