2017's high definition remaster Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy filled in the generational gap between the original trilogy and this latest numbered installment, starring Crash and Coco. Music for the platformer is by Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III composer Walter Mair.
A behind-the-scenes video documenting the "live recorded bone flutes, seashells, percussion, modular synths and many more instruments" can be viewed on the composer's YouTube channel. The official soundtrack is streaming on the Crash Bandicoot channel.
Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time is also available for Nintendo Switch, PS4 and PlayStation 5 consoles. The Windows edition is hosted on Steam, verified for use with the Steam Deck.
