Cotton Reboot's arranged 'HD Reboot' mode reimagines the classic shoot-em-up with high-definition visual design and arranged music. Also included is a Time Attack mode, and retro X68000 mode recapturing the look and feel of the 1993 original release for personal computers.
In August of 1991, Pony Canyon published the soundtrack from the arcade edition of “Cotton: Fantastic Night Dreams”, featuring eight music tracks by Ken’ichi Hirata and a sound effects collection. Sega’s Wave Master label published a four-disc compilation in December of 2012, bundling music from the arcade game, along with ports and variations for the X68000, Sony PlayStation and Neo-Geo Pocket.
Developed by Rocket-Engine Co.,Ltd., Cotton Reboot previously launched for Windows PCs via Steam. The PS4 and Nintendo Switch editions are published by ININ Games.
