A two-hour album "Cities: Skylines Original Game Soundtrack" is available via streaming platforms, published in 2015. Music for the game is by Jonne Valtonen and Jani Laaksonen. Valtonen served as lead arranger and orchestrator for the 2009 Symphonic Fantasies: Music from Square Enix tribute concert.
Content creator packs 'Mansions & Manors' and 'Holiday Getaways' are also planned for release. The downloadable content will be available for Cities: Skylines – Remastered for Windows PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
The remaster of the city-building simulation game added a "quick selection" tool upon launch in 2023 to improve the user interface with precision placement and distance indicators. Environmental controls allow for the adjustment of the time of day to capture screenshots of the metropolis at dawn or sunset.
Cities: VR - Enhanced Edition by Fast Travel Games is currently available for PlayStation VR2. The high-resolution VR port affords players a bird's eye view from the skyline, or a ground-view from the streets of cozy suburbs and entrance of massive skyscrapers.
