Chrono Trigger Orchestral Concert Live Recording debuts in Japan
The Live Recording of Melodies Across Time, the Chrono Trigger Orchestral Concert, debuts today in Japan. Orchestral renditions were performed in January by the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra at Tokyo International Forum Hall A, conducted by Nicholas Buc.

The previously released Chrono Trigger Orchestral Arrangement album highlights studio recordings of arrangements performed at the concert. Featured pieces include "Secret of the Forest / Wind Scene," "Courage and Pride / Frog's Theme," and "World Revolution / Last Battle."


Time travel-themed role-playing game Chrono Trigger launched for Super Nintendo in 1995, featuring music by Yasunori Mitsuda (Xenogears), Nobuo Uematsu (Final Fantasy) and Noriko Matsueda (Bahamut Lagoon). The Windows port launched in February of 2018, through Steam. Post-release patches made updates to the user interface, adjusted character sprites and background graphics, and improved gameplay speed.

Chrono Trigger Piano Soundscape is arranged by Shogo Nomura and Sachico Miyano. Piano renditions include “Frog's Theme” and “Robo's Theme,” together with “Gato’s Song ~ Battle ~ Fanfare 1” and “Magus’ Castle ~ Confusion Melody ~ Battle with Magus.” Excerpts of all tracks are streaming on the official album website and digital music store Ototoy.
