Chrono Trigger Orchestral Arrangement album debuts in January
Orchestral Arrangement album "Melodies Across Time" is scheduled for release on January 14th in Japan. The album highlights ten orchestral medleys to be performed live by the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra at the Tokyo International Forum Hall in January of 2026.

Featured arrangements include "Secret of the Forest / Wind Scene," "Courage and Pride / Frog's Them'e," and "World Revolution / Last Battle." Time travel role-playing game Chrono Trigger launched for Super Nintendo in 1995, featuring music by Yasunori Mitsuda (Xenogears), Nobuo Uematsu (Final Fantasy) and Noriko Matsueda (Bahamut Lagoon).

A crossfade trailer is streaming on the publisher's YouTube channel. Preorders for the compact disc release are available through the Square Enix store for North America and Europe, and distributor CDJapan.


Square Enix previously posted the release trailer for the Chrono Trigger Piano Soundscape Arrangement album. Arrangements by Shogo Nomura and Sachico Miyano include “Frog's Theme” and “Robo's Theme,” together with “Gato’s Song ~ Battle ~ Fanfare 1” and “Magus’ Castle ~ Confusion Melody ~ Battle with Magus.” Excerpts of all tracks from both albums are streaming on the official websites.

The Windows port of Chrono Trigger launched in February of 2018, through Steam. Post-release patches made updates to the user interface, adjusted character sprites and background graphics, along with improving gameplay speed.
