Live recording album announced for Chrono Trigger Orchestral Concert
A live recording of the Chrono Trigger Orchestral Concert will be released as an album on September 16th in Japan. Preorders for the compact disc publication have opened at distributor CDJapan.

Chrono Trigger Orchestral Arrangement album "Melodies Across Time" previously debuted on compact disc. The album highlights ten orchestral medleys performed by the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra at the Tokyo International Forum Hall.

Featured orchestral arrangements include "Secret of the Forest / Wind Scene," "Courage and Pride / Frog's Theme," and "World Revolution / Last Battle."


Chrono Trigger Piano Soundscape is arranged by Shogo Nomura and Sachico Miyano. Piano renditions include “Frog's Theme” and “Robo's Theme,” together with “Gato’s Song ~ Battle ~ Fanfare 1” and “Magus’ Castle ~ Confusion Melody ~ Battle with Magus.”

A crossfade trailer is streaming on the publisher's YouTube channel. Excerpts of all tracks are streaming on the official album website and digital music store Ototoy.

Time travel role-playing game Chrono Trigger launched for Super Nintendo in 1995, featuring music by Yasunori Mitsuda (Xenogears), Nobuo Uematsu (Final Fantasy) and Noriko Matsueda (Bahamut Lagoon). The Windows port launched in February of 2018, through Steam. Post-release patches made updates to the user interface, adjusted character sprites and background graphics, and improved gameplay speed.
