Developed by Treyarch, in partnership with Raven Software, first-person shooter Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 launched earlier this week. The 50-track soundtrack by Jack Wall is streaming on Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube Music, and Amazon Music Unlimited, published by Activision.

Set in the early 1990s, a decade after the events of Black Ops Cold War, '90s action films and popular music informed aspects of the visual style and soundtrack. "The Gulf War dominated headlines and there was growing mistrust in government reflected across the music, television, and pop culture of the time," writes the Call of Duty Blog.

A making-of video filmed behind-the-scenes at AIR Studios in London can be viewed on the developer's YouTube channel. Multiplayer theme “Raining the Fire” is by Wall, Big Giant Circles, and ROMES. Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is currently available for PS4 and PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Series X|S consoles, along with Windows through Steam.

From the product page:
Developed by Treyarch and Raven, Black Ops 6 is a spy action thriller set in the early 90s, a period of transition and upheaval in global politics, characterized by the end of the Cold War and the rise of the United States as a single superpower. With a mind-bending narrative, and unbound by the rules of engagement, this is signature Black Ops.

The Black Ops 6 Campaign provides dynamic moment-to-moment gameplay that includes a variety of play spaces with blockbuster set pieces and action-packed moments, high-stakes heists, and cloak-and-dagger spy activity.
