Record label Bandai Namco Game Music has updated the Namco Legendary album catalog, adding Burning Force Original Soundtrack. The Namco System 2 arcade cabinet arrived in arcades in Japan in 1989, and received a Sega Genesis console port the following year.

Players control Hiromi Tengenji, pilot of the "Sign Duck" air bike. The camera is positioned behind the protagonist as she avoids projectiles and shoots down hostile aliens. Hamster Corporation's Arcade Archives Burning Force is available for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 consoles.

Music is composed by Splatterhouse co-composer Yoshinori Kawamoto, aka Kawagen. The soundtrack album is streaming on Apple Music, Spotify, and YouTube Music, including unused tracks.
