BALL x PIT joins the Xbox Game Pass Premium catalog
BALL x PIT for Xbox Series X|S, a 'Play Anywhere' title, is now included with Game Pass Premium subscriptions, including PC Game Pass.

Developed by Kenny Sun and Friends, the fast-paced hybrid brick-breaking and base-building survival roguelite was nominated for Best Independent Game at The Game Awards.

Attack balls equipped by players level up by collecting XP gems during combat. Two Level 3 balls, chosen from among over 60 varieties, can often fuse via Fusion Reactors to combine effects or derive unique new forms. The design allows for overpowered combinations and unexpected synergies to result from a myriad of possible fusions.

The Naturalist, the third and final free major content update for BALL x PIT, is now available across all platforms.


Composer Amos Roddy was nominated for the Excellence in Audio award at the 28th Independent Games Festival Awards. The composer participated in a discussion of his contributions to Devolver Digital publications last year on the Devolver Digital Forkcast.

The Original Game Soundtrack includes 22 music tracks from the game, hosted on Bandcamp and Steam, with streaming on Apple Music, Spotify, and Amazon Music Unlimited. Album art is by Jorge Monlongo.

BALL x PIT is also available for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 consoles. Mobile ports for iOS and Android are hosted on the App Store fo iPhone and Google Play. Windows PC and MacOS editions are on Steam, verified for use with the Steam Deck.

BALL x PIT's final free update is The Naturalist Update, which brings a selection of new balls and passives to your favorite ball-bouncing roguelite, as well as two new characters.

The first new character, The Ballbearer, doubles down on firepower, literally, giving you twice the amount of Ball slots to build an arsenal – at the cost of giving up passive items completely. Then, on the flipside, there's The Hoary Hoarder, who only has room for two Ball slots, but makes up for it with double the amount of passive slots, letting powerful item Evolutions do the heavy lifting.
