Masaya Games' followup to Sega Genesis title Target Earth and its prequel Cybernator, Assault Suit Leynos 2 launched in 1997 exclusively in Japan. Assault Suit Leynos 2 Saturn Tribute adds rewind functionality and a quick save option.
Localized for English-language regions by Clear River Games, the mech platformer is now available for Nintendo Switch, PS4 and PlayStation 5 consoles. The launch trailer is streaming on the PlayStation YouTube channel. Music for the game is by Noboru Iwata, Hiroaki Shibata, and Hiroshi Iizuka.
Assault Suit Leynos 2 Saturn Tribute launched in Japan for Windows through Steam, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PS4 and PlayStation 5 consoles, published by City Connection. The special edition physical release is bundled with the Leynos 1&2 soundtrack CD and fan book.
