Konami's top-down run-and-gun title Jackal arrived in arcades in October of 1986 in Japan. The Famicom Disk System home console port Final Command: Akai Yousai launched on May 2nd of 1988, featuring original music by Konami Kukeiha Club members Shinya Sakamoto and Atsushi Fujio.

Jackal, Contra, Super C, and Rush'n Attack (Green Beret) Famicom soundtracks are bundled in "Music From Konami Antiques" Vinyl Vol.4, shipping from distributor Play-Asia. The compact disc edition of "Music From Konami Antiques" is comprised of music from 44 Nintendo Famicom titles.

Hamster Corporation's Arcade Archives Jackal is available for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch consoles. The launch trailer is streaming on the publisher's YouTube channel.
