TearyHand Studio gained widespread recognition last September, when and Roger was named the winner of the Audience Award Grand Prix, Best Arts Award, and Best Presentation Award at the Tokyo Game Show's Sense of Wonder Night, held at the Makuhari Messe in Chiba City, Japan.

and Roger arrives on Nintendo Switch 2 consoles, alongside iOS and Android devices, on June 18th. A version update supporting twenty additional language localizations is planned for release day-and-date with the upcoming port for mobile devices.

Designed by yona and consisting of three chapters, the independently developed title "lets you see through the protagonist's eyes—whether what she sees makes sense or not." The story can be experienced in its entirety in about one hour.

and Roger is currently available for Nintendo Switch consoles, Windows PC and MacOS through Steam, verified for use with the Steam Deck.


Preceding the official opening of the Taipei Game Show at Nangang Exhibition Center Hall in late January, interactive novel and Roger was named the recipient of the Grand Prix and Best Audio awards at the Indie Game Awards.

Most recently, developer TearyHand Studio was awarded the Game Developers Choice Audience Award on March 12th in San Francisco. An orchestral rendition of one theme from the soundtrack, "Zoetrope," was performed live during the GDC concert, conducted by Austin Wintory.

"It was a truly dreamlike, wonderful moment," composer Yasuhiro Nakashima commented via his social media account.

The 19-track soundtrack album by Nakashima is hosted on Steam, published by Kodansha. All tracks are streaming on Apple Music and YouTube Music. Vocal track "Journey" is streaming on Spotify and Amazon Music Unlimited, performed in Japanese by Eureka Republic (Unicorn Overlord) and in English by Julie Elven (Horizon Zero Dawn). It's just another morning for this young girl. She wakes up and starts getting herself ready while shaking off the sleepiness like always. Except something, somehow, feels off.

When she steps into the living room, she expects to find her dad preparing for work. Instead, she finds a stranger sleeping on the couch. The man wakes up, looks at the girl, and sighs. Ignoring her confusion, he mumbles to himself with a hint of sadness in his voice.
